This project explores the leather-making clusters of Dharavi, Mumbai—one of the largest informal industrial ecosystems in the world. The documentation captures the transformation of raw animal hides into usable leather through stages of cleaning, curing, drying, and finishing.

The study also highlights the role of migrant communities, many of whom specialize in different stages of production, forming an interconnected network of labor, skill, and survival.
